All Peak District Cuisine establishments have signed up to a set of
principles relating to supporting the local economy by using local products and
services where possible - they have all undertaken to always provide at least one
dish every day whose main ingredient is locally sourced.
Peak District Cuisine is being funded by the Peak District
National Park Authoritys New Environmental Economy programme and the
University of Derby College, Buxton.

These symbols are awarded to accommodation which has been inspected and seen to provide appropriate support for people with disabilities |

Level 1 Typically suitable for a person with sufficient
mobility to climb a set of stairs but would benefit from fixtures and fittings
to aid balance. |

Level 2 Typically suitable for a person with restricted
walking ability and those who may need to use a wheelchair some of the time.

Level 3 Typically suitable for a person who depends
upon the use of a wheelchair and transfers unaided to and from a wheelchair in
a seated position. |

Level 4 Typically suitable for a person who depends
upon the use of a wheelchair and transfers to and from a wheelchair in a seated
position. They also require personal/mechanical assistance to aid transfer (eg.
carer/hoist). |
